GZERO is a digital media company that aims to make global affairs engaging and relevant to a broad audience, without ideological bias or insider jargon. The senior writer/reporter writes and edits articles about international politics for our flagship newsletter, GZERO Daily, on-site features published on gzeromedia.com, and our other weekly newsletters, including GZERO AI, GZERO Daily with Ian Bremmer, and GZERO North
Responsibilities:
- Write and edit with a unique perspective and voice for newsletters and some features
- Work well as part of a small team of writers in a dynamic, news-driven environment
- Meet tight deadlines
- Sometimes work long/odd hours, including early mornings for newsletter deployment (on rotation)
- Maintain strong news judgment
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and editing skills
- 5+ years of journalism/digital media experience, including at least 1-2 years of editing experience
- Credibility covering and analyzing international politics
- CMS experience
- Thrives in fast-paced environments
- Embraces innovation and brand development
- Has a sense of humor and team spirit

The applicable base salary range for this role is $70,000 to 90,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
