The “Radical Impatience” of Young People | Gen Z Views On Gender Equality | GZERO World

How much of the improvements around gender equality over the past 10 years have been the result of a younger generation refusing to tolerate an outdated perception of women? Generational changes have been a pivotal force, says the UN's top global advocate for women, Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka. "We still have residues of chauvinism in boys who do not identify with thinking that is progressive, but it's much better than the guys of my generation, that's for sure. Definitely much better."

UN Women Executive Director Mlambo-Ngcuka's conversation with Ian Bremmer is part of the latest episode of GZERO World, which began airing on US public television stations nationwide on Friday, March 19. Check local listings.
