As controversy swirls around U.S. President Trump's attacks on mail-in voting amid a pandemic, his senior advisor tells Ian Bremmer: "If it's safe to go the supermarket... then it should be safe to go out and vote."

In the latest episode of GZERO World, Jared Kushner discusses the recent diplomatic breakthrough between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, pandemic response in the U.S., and the upcoming presidential election.

In this preview clip, Ian asks Kushner about safety at the polls, while Kushner stokes fears that vote-by-mail initiatives could lead to fraud — even if millions of Americans would rather mail in their ballots to stay safe from the coronavirus.

Ian Bremmer's Quick Take: The largest social dissent we have seen since the October 7 terror attacks, since the war in Gaza has started in Israel. And the proximate reason for this was the Hamas execution of six Israeli hostages in Rafah. It's a big deal; it's a general strike of the largest labor union in Israel. They want an end to the fighting, they want the hostages back, and they want a deal done, and they're tired of the way this war has been prosecuted.
